Officials said Jacobs is executing the project from its offices in Houston, Al-Khobar and Mumbai.
The commercial unit is expected to expand production of Morpholine and DGA on an annual basis, making Huntsman the largest global supplier of Morpholine and DGA.
The FEED stage is expected to be complete by the third quarter of this year.
Initial production is slated for 2014.
Officials did not disclose the contract value.
Jacobs Group Vice President Mike Autrey said: “We are delighted to grow our relationship with Huntsman and Zamil in their joint effort to expand investment in the Middle East and support production of high value-added chemicals.”
