IIROSA Secretary General Adnan bin Khalil Basha, over 200 members will attend the meeting to discuss a host of issues with a view to further boosting IIROSA's humanitarian, relief and welfare activities.
He said the members, from inside Saudi Arabia and abroad, consist of eminent scholars, experts, specialists, thinkers and philanthropists.
Basha said the meeting will consider a number of recommendations made by the 24th meeting of the Organization's Board of Directors, consider the report of the Secretary General on the administrative, financial and investment performance of the organization during the fiscal year 1430-1431H, approve the closing accounts for the year under review prepared by Ernst & Young, select the external auditors to audit the accounts of the organization for the fiscal year 1431-1432H, accept new members to the General Assembly and review many other issues that will contribute to enhancing the various activities of the organization . The participants will watch a documentary film on IIROSA's achievements made during the past year.
Basha said a scientific symposium will be held in conjunction with the meeting to discuss ways and means of promoting the Islamic charity action.
The secretary general said a special function will be held in the evening of the same day to honor a number of outstanding members of the assembly, the institutions and individuals who have been supporting the organization, a number of outstanding orphans under the sponsorship of IIROSA and a number of local offices who excelled in their performance.
"During the function, IIROSA will receive the ISO 2008-9001 which is an international certificate of excellence granted to establishments in recognition of their outstanding performance," he explained.
