Nearly 100 potential jurors are expected at Chicago’s federal court Monday. Defendant Tahawwur Rana (tuh-HOW’-ur RAH’-nah) is accused of helping his friend David Headley, a Pakistani-American who pleaded guilty to helping a Pakistani militant group scout sites for the attacks.
Jurors have to answer questionnaires covering a range of topics. Some questions ask about Pakistani militant groups.
Another question asks if the juror has ever lived in India, Pakistan or Denmark.
Rana also is accused of helping plan an attack that never took place on a Danish newspaper that printed cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
