The SCSAC will construct the park in collaboration with the Jeddah Municipality, which will allocate 11,000 square meters of land in the Marjan district for the park and a center for autistic children, Secretary General of the SCSAC Talat Waznah said on Saturday.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SCSAC Prince Turki bin Nassir will sign a agreement with Jeddah Mayor Hani Abu Ras for collaboration in the construction of the park on Tuesday.
The construction of the facility comes as part of the International Forum for Environment and Sustainable Development in the Gulf currently being held in Jeddah, Waznah said.
The SCSAC will allocate 10 percent of the park’s land to build a center for autistic children where training and rehabilitation programs will be conducted, he said.
The park will be one of largest amusement centers for disabled children in the kingdom, he added.
