Nine activists died in a botched Israeli commando operation on the Turkish ship during a similar attempt to break the sea blockade of the Palestinian territory last year, with each side accusing the other of starting the violence.
IHH president Bulent Yildirim said Friday that the boat will not be part of the flotilla scheduled to set sail at the end of the month. Ten ships were expected to sail for Gaza on June 25.
The decision comes after Egypt opened the Rafah border crossing into Gaza, ending a four-year blockade.
