Addressing the reception, KAU President Osama Tayeb congratulated King Abdullah on the sixth anniversary of his rule and the king’s efforts to promote higher education in the country.
He invited King Abdullah to visit the university, which is named after the king’s father. He thanked the king for allocating SR3 billion for new KAU projects.
Dhafir Al-Shahri, a judge at Jeddah’s Administrative Court, underscored the remarkable progress achieved by Saudi Arabia under King Abdullah’s reign. He praised a series of decrees issued by the king recently, unveiling a number of welfare programs for Saudis.
Al-Shahri underscored the unity and solidarity expressed by Saudis toward their leadership. He denounced the efforts by some groups with vested interests to undermine the Kingdom’s security and stability.
