“The group’s board of directors decided to recommend to the ordinary general assembly to adopt the distribution of dividends for the first half of 2011 of 776 million at 0.8 halala per share,” the bank said in a statement.
It will begin distributing the dividend on July 9, it said.
Samba is expected to report second-quarter results next month.
