Thai Airways will lease the new A350-900 XWB aircraft for 12 years from the date of delivery in 2017, Alafco said in a statement on Sunday.
The leasing firm said the list price was $1.6 billion. Alafco's monthly rental charges are 1 percent of the listed prices.
Alafco last month ordered six Airbus wide-body A350-900 aircraft at the Paris Air Show.
Islamic lender Kuwait Finance House and state-owned Kuwait Airways are Alafco's biggest shareholders.
