The reiteration of Beijing’s policy stance, which was published on the central government’s website, comes after official data showed inflation in June quickened to a three-year high of 6.4 percent, driven by soaring food costs.
Wen also said the government would use “various” monetary policy tools to fight inflation, but he did not elaborate.
