8 killed in Ohio, gunman among dead

A neighbor, Gilbert Elie (EE’-leye), tells The Associated Press he heard gunshots Sunday morning. He went outside and found two neighbors who’d been shot and a woman and girl in a vehicle who were wounded. Then Elie saw a man shoot his girlfriend, and Elie ran for safety.
Copley police Sgt. Eric Goodwin says the victims’ names and ages weren’t being released until police could tell family members, some of whom are out of state.
Goodwin did not know the conditions of the wounded. He says investigators are “still putting things together” as they work multiple crime scenes.
