Tendulkar, one-day cricket's leading run-scorer, missed the Twenty20 international and the first match of the five-game one-day series, which was abandoned on Saturday. The second match is at the Rose Bowl, Hampshire on Tuesday.
Tendulkar, 38, has made 99 centuries in international cricket, 51 in Tests and 48 in one-dayers.
