He said that it was important to wait for the trial to end and a verdict delivered. He said that if the role was offered to him, he wanted to have some freedom in his acting to give a perfect performance of a president who ruled Egypt for over 30 years.
Speaking to an Egyptian daily, he said that he was in Beirut on vacation, where he also met actor Adel Imam who is shooting his serial in the Lebanese capital.
