Yachvili sustained deep bruising to his thigh in Saturday’s 19-12 quarterfinal win against England.
“He will have a less (intensive) training program this week,” France coach Marc Lievremont said Sunday.
Yachvili came off midway through the second half and was replaced by Francois Trinh-Duc, with makeshift No. 10 Morgan Parra switching back to scrumhalf.
Yachvili kicked two penalties in France’s win at Eden Park.
France also has injury concerns over center Aurelien Rougerie, who played with a sore shoulder against England.
“Aurelien is still in a bit of pain, but not as much as he was the day after the Tonga match,” Lievremont said.
