Riyadh-headquartered Alessa Industries will leverage its presence at the exhibition to showcase its new plant that is licensed by Huntair, global leaders in airflow management, to deliver an innovative technology in air-conditioning filters.
Additionally, Alessa will outline its aim to increase warehouse capacity for better managing the needs of its growing customer base.
Alessa Industries is taking part at the Big-5 2011, the largest annual building and construction trade exhibition in the Middle East, for the third consecutive year.
Earlier this year, Alessa Industries received the Emirates Quality Mark from the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (EASM).
The certification followed an evaluation of 67 products and four brands based on the ISO 9010:2001 quality management requirements.
Big-5 2011 will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 21 to 24.
The show will gather more than 2,500 leading companies in the field of construction, refrigeration and air-conditioning from 70 countries around the world.
Abdullah Abdul Karim, managing director of Alessa Industries, said the show provides an ideal opportunity for architects, engineers, contractors and manufacturers from both the public and private sectors to network and discuss latest developments in the construction, air-conditioning and refrigeration sectors.
“Our participation at the Big-5 show is in line with our strategy to consistently mark a presence at local and international events to achieve our ultimate aim of capturing a greater market share in the region and worldwide.”
During Big-5 2010, Alessa Industries signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Eaton-Williams, a leading British manufacturing company specializing in data centers and server room cooling solutions to bring advanced technology in data centers cooling and to facilitate the growth of manufacturing units in Saudi Arabia.
A leading integrated industrial group in Saudi Arabia, Alessa Industries has the highest sales volume of home air-conditioners in the Middle East, and currently enjoys over 28 percent market share in air-conditioning and refrigeration in the country.
As part of its strategy to invest in human resources for the long-term benefit of the industry, Alessa has partnered with Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI), an initiative managed by Saudi businessmen in cooperation with the public sector to train Saudi talents and qualify them to work as electricity, air-conditioning and welding technicians as well as machine operators in the air-conditioning and refrigeration sectors.
Alessa Industries, with headquarters in Riyadh, operates in the manufacturing, trade, and contracting construction sectors in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
A leading integrated industrial group in Saudi Arabia, the quantum leaps in growth and development it has achieved made it possible for this national company to enjoy the best level of sales of home air conditioners in the Middle East.
The company has followed a diversification strategy locally and regionally and has contributed to the localization of the industry and employment and development of Saudi nationals.
