This new era is dominated by two conflicting parties. Each one has its own ideology and way of thinking and each party claims it is the leader of the community and can dictate whatever it believes.
Ironically, both sides seem to claim what is contrary to their ideological thoughts. The most significant things distinguishing these conflicting parties are the loud discussions, nonsense and empty talk, extremist dialogue, eliminating the other and shedding doubts of loyalty.
All the above-mentioned activities are taking place amid a complete absence of a third and most effective party, whether or not intentional.
The third party here means the overwhelming majority of the population, a segment that has chosen to keep silent in the shadow and accepts the elimination regardless of the reasons for such behavior.
The silent or absent segment of the people, which is supposed to have the higher voice, comes from all walks of life, including a government employee who is confined to his duty, the merchant and industrial worker who follows regulations and who does not tolerate any violations or false conduct, the teacher who faithfully contributes to education, and those who spare no effort to serve their native citizens and residents in all fields of public work like physicians, nurses and others.
The third group is also represented by the normal citizen who pays water, electricity bills, Saher traffic violation fees, the one who strictly adheres to prevailing laws and regulations of house constructions, purchases of land lots, preserves public properties and observes the National Day and other events to show loyalty to his country and leaders.
In fact, this good citizen should be taken care of, listened to and given all the respect and appreciation. He is entitled to excellent education for his kids, reasonable health and social services, to feel secure and ensure that his rights are preserved and well protected.
This good citizen also deserves to enjoy leisure time and have enough entertainment places free of any restrictions. Such a segment of the society needs to be taken care of because it represents the most effective category of our community. It represents the creative spirit of our society, so more serious efforts should be made to make its voice louder and its demands and proposals listened to carefully.
Finally, I believe that time has come for listening to the wise people and their voice should strongly exist even if it is too late, but something is better than nothing.
