Winners of BRJ Photography Prize named

She received a contract to record in photographs the success stories of young Saudi men and women, who found a job through the Bab Rizq Jameel branches in the Kingdom.
Abbas Khamis was the runner-up and Mohammed Shibly won third prize. All three winners were chosen after several assessments.  They also won valuable photography equipment.
The theme of the Annual BRJ Photography Prize was "Make Your Living with Your Camera — 2011."
Hassan Jameel, president of ALJ Community Initiatives Saudi Arabia, presented the prizes and said the work of Al-Qahtani will be published in the Saudi Success book 2011. 
Fady Jameel, president of ALJ Community Initiatives International, said ALJCI is continuously seeking to support artists in different fields of arts, especially in contemporary painting and photography. Abdullah Al Taazy, director of the Saudi Culture and Arts Association in Jeddah, said the idea of the prize is creative. He added that it creates new job opportunities for young people and it will be a new start for competitors using their talents.
