The event saw enthusiastic participation by more than 300 adults and 120 children below the age of 14, in separate 5,700-meter and 800-meter races respectively.
“The runners, their families and spectators had a full day of fun,” said Philip Burrluck, Volkswagen brand manager at Samaco, which prepared the jogging tracks and organized grilling, dining and other recreational activities.
“Samaco Group is committed to supporting family-oriented social and recreational events so as to help develop a sense of community and maintain close communication between the company and its current and potential clients,” Burrluck said.
During the event, Volkswagen displayed the new Jetta, Tiguan and Touareg at the sport zone in the compound, drew the fascination of huge crowds for their sporty performance and stylish designs.
“These cars have the highest ratings internationally and locally,” Burrluck concluded, noting that Volkswagen has various models for a large cross-section of customers who are assured of the highest level of services from Samaco Group.
