“There is no way someone at home, would wake you up and tell you the right time!” tweeted @Notyoqla.
Another user uploaded a cell phone picture of a plastic cord extension tweeting, “One of the most and hardest items to find inside the house.”
“It’s nearly impossible when someone, knocks on the doors, opens it, gets in, leaves then remembers to close the door thereafter #SaudiHouse,” one tweeted on Tuesday.
TV remote whereabouts inside the house, and the ‘pain’ of trying to find a lost remote, seemed to take a major part of these tweets on Tuesday.
Also, finding the best TV seating spots on the couch to view their favorite soaps or movies on screen too dominated some tweets and rewets and were marked with the hashtag #SaudiHouse.
“One of the most important protocols inside a Saudi house is to have a strategic location in front of the television,” a tweeter mentioned, and this was followed by another tweeter saying, “One of the most difficult items to lose inside the house is the TV remote control.” And then finally followed by another tweet, “Few of the most common lines heard inside #SaudiHouse, are where is the remote? Move from my spot, and who drank my Pepsi?”
Similar to other online trends on Twitter, #SaudiHouse became a trend of its own that local Saudi newspapers reported on the topic.
One tweeted, “I think we can all agree, that it’s only inside #SaudiHouse where you will only find these dysfunctional and funny aspects.”
#SaudiHouse is trending
