He said the two-day meeting would discuss all
issues concerning social development centers and the responsibilities of
the ministry toward society. "The meeting will provide participants
with the opportunity to tackle all matters of concern to them with a
view to establishing a mechanism for the settlement of any obstacles,"
he added.The undersecretary reiterated the ministry would support any social project that would benefit society.He
said the ministry had supplied all the centers with guidance brochures
to develop their own resources and to make their internal organizational
structures.Al-Hadlaq, on the other hand, denied the ministry had
cancelled its cooperation with the Ministry of Education to enable
teachers to work as social workers at the social development centers on a
full time basis."We are cooperating with all government ministries
including education, health, agriculture and others according to our
needs," he said.Director of Social Affairs in Makkah province
Abdullah Al-Tawi said workshops and exhibitions would be organized
during the meeting.
