Ibrahim Aljomaih, vice chairman and CEO of AAC, received the award at a special ceremony.
It was held as part of the General Motors 2012 Dealer event in Las Vegas last October.
The awarding ceremony, as well, was attended by Waleed Aljomaih, COO of Aljomaih, and David Matta, director of premium brands.
The "General Motors Dealer Award” is an annual highly prestigious dealer-recognition program established by GM to honor its top dealers.
This year AAC, through its premium brands division, earned this award in recognition of its efforts in increasing the sales of Cadillac cars in Saudi Arabia and its outstanding customer services.
After receiving the award, Ibrahim said: “It is a great recognition and we are proud of it. We shall spare no efforts to enhance our services for our clients in Saudi Arabia.”
Aljomaih Automotive Company is the largest GM dealer in the Middle East, and has achieved a significant increase in Cadillac sales reached 54 percent in 2010, and 28 percent increase last year.
This dramatic increase in sales indicates clearly the enormous rise in demand for Cadillac cars, which enjoys great success in Saudi Arabia market in view of its elegant luxurious design and outstanding performance.
To maintain its leading position in luxury cars segment, the Aljomaih Automotive Company will launch two Cadillac models XTS and ATS in 2012 that will be an addition to Cadillac popular models including CTS, SRX, and Escalade.
Aljomaih Automotive Company represents General Motors (GM) since 1967 and is the exclusive dealer for Cadillac cars in Saudi.
Aljomaih Automotive Company plans to expand its network of integrated centers and open new branches in various parts of Saudi Arabia to meet the challenges at every point of customer contact.
