The JCCI is planning to organize the exhibition on women’s work starting from March 26 under the title “Capacity building: Expectations of the future.” Al-Iman Society is organizing this exhibition to provide services for social rehabilitation of cancer patients, treatment, awareness on the prevention of cancer, and for support of cancer patients and their families in the form of aid and social services.
“We also help carry out research in support of programs to prevent and combat cancer,” said Juhra Al-Anqari, president of the society.
The exhibition of women’s work aims to provide a platform to Saudi women to meet directly with employers, debate, participate in questions and answers sessions, and increase creativity and knowledge. It will provide vital information about career development and opportunities through lectures and panel discussions.
The exhibition, which will run for five days, will target 20,000 visitors with the participation of banks, companies, businessmen in the gold market, car companies, tour operators and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises, said Al-Anqari.
She said this exhibition would help highlighting the role of Saudi women in an effective community.
“The companies and institutions will offer special services in the area of training, while at the same time a section of the exhibition will provide information for women who want to work from home or start a small home-based business,” she said.
Al-Anqari said the exhibition would have distinct sections on health and fitness, social and economic development, children and family needs, manpower to spur the country’s growth, role of women in the business sector, and development of national human resources.
“This will help strengthen the links and communication with the community through training and rehabilitation and employment of Saudi staff, and contribute to reduce the unemployment rate, with a promise to young Saudis of both sexes and people with special needs,” Al-Anqari added.
Maya Halvavi, the president of the organizing committee, said that this exhibition would contribute to society’s development and promoting a culture of working women.
