The Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) and Royal Saudi Land Forces are participating in the exercises with forces of the United States and other countries.
Prince Khaled said he was following carefully the achievements made by the Saudi trainees in the techniques of advanced operations, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
“The achievements made by the Saudi Armed Forces are with the aim of defending the nation, to preserve security, stability and the prosperity of the country besides the defense of the religion,” Prince Khaled said while addressing the Saudi soldiers.
Commander of RSAF Lt. Gen. Muhammad bin Al-Aish accompanied the prince during the visit.
On arrival at the Nellis Air Force Base, Prince Khaled was welcomed by Commander of the US Air Force Gen. G. Michael Hostage and Undersecretary at the US Air Force secretariat Hiadi Grant.
During the visit, the prince was briefed on the conduct of operations of Green 2 and Red 5 exercises and the role of RSAF in the exercises.
The prince also visited the center for the maintenance of Saudi fighter aircraft. He watched a film on the earlier operations of the Green 2 and Red 5 in the Kingdom.
