Zain KSA, as part of its efforts to promote cooperation with official entities, participated in the activities of the International Day of Civil Defense under the slogan of (civil defense and safety at home, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Directorate General of Civil Defense.
The company’s participation was represented through a series of events and services that contributed to raising awareness of the instructions of safety and protection from disasters and dangers of all kinds, and how to prevent them, as well as the proper ways to deal with them when they occur, through SMS as well as channels of social communications of the company as well as display monitors that are available in Zain World flagships around the Kingdom.
Such participation came in the form of a special stand for one week in the exhibition organized by the Directorate of Civil Defense at Prince Sultan University in Riyadh. Zain KSA displayed a number of awareness messages and phrases. It allows visitors to gain more knowledge about to 4G (LTE) technology.
The company confirmed that this initiative comes as part of its commitment to boost its institutional role contemplating with both governmental and private sectors.
Such participation comes in the framework of Zain’s social responsibility and as a contribution to the national development in accordance with strategies and plans drawn by the company since its inception in the Saudi market.
It comes also in solidarity with the Directorate General of Civil Defense, which seeks to give the required social dimensions and implications for the occasion, through the intensification of awareness programs to raise awareness of public safety and the public health.
