He was interacting with a large group of students from X, XI and XII standard at the Royal Plaza auditorium during the Career Guidance Program organized by India Fraternity Forum in association with ACCESS India.
ACCESS (Advanced Center for Career Education and Social Service) helps students to figure out their own capability and strength, and identify opportunity to pursue a suitable professional and educational stream and ways to enroll in them.
Hassan, who has been associated with ACCESS since its inception in 2004, urged parents to give due consideration to the talents and capabilities of students while selecting courses and future profession. Using multimedia presentations, Hassan spoke about various higher education options in today’s competitive world.
"Taking the right decision at the right time would give a satisfying profession to our younger generation," he said. However, in some cases parental pressure forces children to pursue courses that do not match their aptitude. Some parents do not to give due consideration to their financial background when choosing courses and the children end up in failure.
Hassan, a lecturer in Salman Bin Abdul Aziz University in Al-Kharj, is the lead facilitator of ACCESS in Gulf countries. He has motivated students to face career challenges with determination. He explained to students about all mainstream courses available in India and international institutions.
Students from different Indian states participated and actively involved in interaction that made the program fruitful and colorful as well.
Shakeel Ahmed, consul for culture, commercial and higher education, inaugurated the program and Syed Ali Mahmood of King Abdulaziz University motivated the students. Imran, marketing manager of Al-Abeer Medical Group, encouraged students to take up courses that are useful for them and the nation.
A brainteaser session was conducted by Abdul Ghani to refresh students during the interval. The Indian Fraternity Forum President Ashraf Morayur and Northern States coordinator Mohtisham Habeebullah gave away the certificates to the participants.
The program began with the recitation of Holy Qur’an by Osama Farooqui and Aman Ahmad welcomed the guests, the participating students and their parents.
