2 Saudis freed in Lebanon coming back today

He said the two cousins, Tawfiq Hassan and Abdullah Ali Al-Shaqayiq, would arrive at Dammam airport. The ambassador said the two men were discharged from the hospital in Beirut after their health condition had improved. He added that the doctors said traveling posed no danger to their health.
Asiri said the gang that kidnapped the two Saudi citizens was made up of four persons. The Lebanese security forces had arrested two of them. The two others were still at large.
The ambassador said Lebanese security officials had assured him the two renegade gangsters would soon be nabbed. He added that investigations proved that the gang had bases in countries other than Lebanon.
The ambassador said embassy would be more than willing to guide Saudi citizens about safe places to stay. He advised them to stay in safe hotels and motels, away from the border areas.
The two Saudis suffered various bruises from jumping out of the apartment when they were freed. One of them had to undergo a surgical operation on his back.
The ambassador said the kidnappers had tortured the hostages and demanded a ransom of US$100,000.
