Alissa team visits Isuzu operations in Thailand

Headed by Najeeb Alissa, chairman of the board of directors, a delegation of senior officials of Alissa Universal Motors (AUM) visited Thailand in August, to consolidate AUM’s relations with Isuzu Motors International Operations Co. Ltd. (IMIT).
Accompanying Najeeb, chairman of AUM, was Gerry Samrout, GM of AUM.
Samrout said: “We highly value our status as an authorized dealer for Isuzu vehicles in the Central Region of the Kingdom and the purpose of this visit was to strengthen our relationship and build on our strong sales position in the Saudi market.”
At the meeting with Isuzu Motors International Operations Company (Thailand), mutual relations were discussed with Yoichi Masuda, IMIT MD, and Toshiaki Maekawa, IMIT co-MD, who lauded AUM’s dramatic increase in Isuzu sales this year.
Other meetings were held with Isuzu Motors Co. Ltd. (Thailand) (IMCT) and Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co. Ltd (TIS) represented by Hiroshi Nakagawa, president, and Panatda Chennavasin, SVP, who highlighted the success story of Thailand as Isuzu’s biggest sales market and the Kingdom as the second most important market worldwide.
In response to the increasing demand for Isuzu vehicles, AUM in Riyadh has opened the largest Isuzu showroom in the Middle East where the latest Isuzu trucks are on display supported by an outlet selling genuine spare parts.
Isuzu trucks offered by AUM include the popular Isuzu D-MAX pickup truck, Isuzu N-Series light duty pickup trucks, Isuzu F-Series medium-duty trucks, and Isuzu C-Series heavy-duty trucks.
