The Philippine Embassy recently sent a consular mission to Sakaka in the Al-Jouf region to render public services to Overseas Filipino Workers living there.
This was the second Embassy on Wheels (EOW) which the Philippine mission sent to the region this year.
“There were only 222 Filipinos who availed of the consular services but we are happy we were able to help,” the mission said in a statement.
The EOW team processed 177 passport applications, five notarial of various documents, one birth registration, and released 39 new passports. In line with the embassy’s program to improve its services, the EOW team distributed 175 client feedback forms of which 167 were completed and returned to the EOW.
