JEDDAH: A court issued a 10-year prison sentence against a health employee in Al-Ahsa and fined him SR1 million for getting involved in forgery and fraud as well as embezzling public funds in contracts to import medical equipment for the Children and Maternity Hospital in Al-Ahsa.
Five others have been sentenced to prison terms of between three and seven years and fines that ranged between SR100,000 and SR1 million. The court ordered all the convicts to return the embezzled funds.

Al-Ajlan added that Nazaha confirms the principle of transparency and fighting corruption in all its forms and methods according to the strategy of body. He called on citizens and residents to cooperate with Nazaha and report any suspicion involving corruption.
