JEDDAH: Artworks and paintings by the visually-impaired will go on display at an exhibition organized under the patronage of Princess Seeta bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the Saudi Center of Fine Arts here.
More than 30 artists of different technical art schools and institutes will display around 60 works in the five-day exhibition, which will open on June 20.
The proceeds from the event will be go to the Ebsar Foundation for the visually-impaired in Jeddah.
Aisha Natto, a member of Ebsar Foundation, said a number of famous artists showed their interest in presenting their works for the exhibition.
She said the aim of the exhibition is to support social causes and promote art, bring different segments of society on one platform of social work and to remind all of our social responsibility toward people with special needs and society.
The participants will include top artists including Hana Hijazi, Abdel Azim, Sultan Al-Nasir.
The paintings of famous personalities of the Kingdom will go on display including Ghazi Al-Gosaibi, Nasser Al-Moosa, the first blind member of the Shoura Council and Yemeni poet Al-Bardouni.
