JEDDAH: The National Water Company has taken effective measures to avoid erroneous water tariff bills.
Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ibrahim said the correction process has been a major concern for the company.
“A series of new tools have now been introduced to ensure correct readings of the water meters. The readings will be cross-checked twice and will be photographed as empirical evidence,” he said.
“If there is a 50 percent increase in the reading from the previous bill, the reading will be done again in order to ensure accuracy,” he added.
