Panda Retail Company has organized its annual Eid Al-Fitr program, Panda Eid Gifts, to celebrate the festive occasion with children in hospitals and health care centers and help alleviate their suffering.
The program comes as part of Panda’s CSR initiative and reiterates its commitment toward all segments of the society, especially children.
This year, Panda formed a team led by PR & CSR Manager Hesham Mahmoud BaEissa to visit children admitted in King Fahd Hospital a few days before Eid Al-Fitr to greet them and give them free shopping vouchers.
The initiative is aimed to bring the smile back on the faces of the children as they cannot be with their families and relatives to share the joy of Eid. The vouchers offered by Panda will enable them to buy a number of products, including foodstuffs, clothes and electronics, at Panda stores all over the country.
Panda Retail Company CEO Muwaffaq Mansour Jamal reiterated the company’s keen efforts to implement social responsibility initiatives aimed at making children and other sections of the society happy on the joyful occasion of Eid.
“The overarching goal of our CSR programs is to play an active role in the society. This campaign reflects the company’s unwavering commitment toward all segments of the society,” he added.
Panda forms the Retail Division of the Savola group of companies. It is one of the largest retailers in the Middle East, catering to more than 400 million visitors every year across its different outlets; Panda, HyperPanda and Pandati, which offers a diverse range of high quality products that meet all the needs of the family, at competitive prices.
