AL-AHSA: Academics, religious scholars and businessmen have condemned the terrorist attacks in the City of the Prophet, Jeddah and Al-Qatif, saying those who target the nation and stand behind such deviant thoughts should be eliminated.
Mohammad Al-Faridan, dean of admissions and registrations at King Faisal University, said that the recent terrorist acts show that Daesh members have truly violated all sacred things. He added, however, that they have not succeeded in breaking the unity of the community as everyone is still standing behind the wise leadership of the Kingdom.
Ahmad bin Ibrahim Al-Sayyed Hashim, director general of the Awqaf and Mosques in Al-Ahsa, said that God has thwarted the plans of the extremists because they will only receive dishonor, rather than blessings. He also wondered what those terrorists have gained by attacking unarmed worshipers, and confirmed that the end of this devious group of extremists is close.
Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Alabdulqader, member of the scientific council of the Global Society for Cosmic Catastrophes in Germany, said news about Daesh comes in similar stereotypes; events followed in the east of the Kingdom in an ugly synchronization. He said their criminal acts made the Kingdom stronger and more powerful.
Scholar Adel bin Abdullah Bokhamsin said that we are facing an ideological and intellectual war, which has become more fierce since the attack at the Prophet’s Mosque.
"This behavior is not strange for the kinds of people who kill their parents and families. Today we are not only fighting a terrorist organization, we are fighting terrorist thoughts that incite sectarian wars. Some think they can benefit from this devious thought to settle old scores, but they would soon realize that they were only tools in the hands of this terrorist group because they would soon be listed among the disbelievers."
