RIYADH: At least 31 violating engineering offices and companies have been served ultimatum to correct their status in the next 15 days or face consequences.
Any of the 31 violating engineering offices and companies that fail to correct their statuses in the next 15 days will have their licenses withdrawn and will not be permitted to operate their businesses, said Engineer Abdul Nasser Al-Abdullatif, spokesman and director of media and public relations of the Saudi Engineering Commission (SCE).
Al-Abdullatif said the commission urges all citizens and residents in the Kingdom to utilize the complaints and reporting portal on the official website to report on any violating engineering offices.
In a press statement this week, the SCE spokesman said the commission fully believes that beneficiaries of engineering services are partners in monitoring the quality of services of such engineering offices.
