RIYADH: The first group of 211 pilgrims from Cameroon will arrive in Madinah on Aug. 24 on board Cam Air Co., according to Ambassador Iya Tidjani.
He said the first flight, which takes less than five hours, will originate from Douala City. The next, a flynas flight, will be from Garoua City.
He added that the second group of 300 pilgrims will arrive on Aug. 28.” There’ll be 15 flights in all from Aug. 24 to Aug. 30,” he said. Cameroon’s quota of pilgrims is 6,000.
“We thank the Saudi authorities for their help in facilitating the documents of our pilgrims coming to perform Haj this year,” Tidjani told Arab News on Saturday.
He also noted that the facilities are good like last year when Cameroonian pilgrims also came to the Kingdom to perform Haj.
