Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT), Jeddah Islamic Port's flagship terminal, recently conducted its third annual health day at its headquarters in Jeddah Islamic Port (JIP), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. This is stated to be in line with RSGT’s CSR commitment.
This year’s health campaign offered influenza and meningitis vaccinations to its staff and clients. It also provided health tips to employees that highlighted the importance of following a healthy lifestyle and safety habits.
Present at the opening ceremony were Director of Health Surveillance Center of the JIP Adel bin Mohammed Turkistani, RSGT’s Deputy MD Hamdi Nathrah and a large number of the terminal’s employees and customers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nathrah said: “We’re happy that RSGT once again is organizing the annual health day for the third year in a row. Our company is concerned with the overall wellbeing of our employees, and we conduct a wide array of events and seminars throughout the year that focuses on healthy lifestyles. This year, we’re very pleased to conduct vaccination against influenza and meningitis, especially during the current Haj season.”
Nathrah added that this campaign is in line with RSGT's commitment toward its employees, the underlying foundation for delivering the company's aspirations and objectives.
“RSGT is also dedicated to providing a healthy and suitable environment for its employees,” he said.
RSGT’s employees and customers turned out in large numbers to participate in the five-day health awareness campaign. They acknowledged the importance of having regular medical checkups.
