This year definitely has a crop of sparkling performances screaming for attention. 2014 has surely been a year where the ladies reigned and, leading the way is the industry’s dark horse, Kangana Ranaut!

But shockingly, the buzz is that the curly-haired beauty may not attend award ceremonies. So, award shows may be a complete ‘No, no!’ for Kangana, according to sources. Quite strange, right?

What on earth is going to keep the ‘Queen’ away from taking a bow in the open? Specially when we know that she has rolled out one of the most sensational blockbusters in 2014 — Vikas Bahl’s ‘Queen’. And, if guesses are correct, Kangana is for sure, tipped to bag the ‘Best Actress’ award.

While on this topic, it’s not new that another celeb — Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan does not attend award functions. Everyone knows this. In fact, the actor has been advocating this ‘No award’ policy for years. And, predictably, this year too, he will be conspicuous by his absence. This is despite the audience response giving him a strong chance of winning the ‘Best Actor’ title for his recent blockbuster, ‘PK’.

Recently, in an interview Kangana revealed, “I have made it clear I will not be part of the award ceremonies, I just do not believe in that nonsense. 15 awards, 5-hour long ceremonies. When do you expect us to make movies?” After adding that she admired and agreed with Aamir’s stance on the matter, she admitted that her dream is to star in a black and white period film with Aamir, where he could be Guru Dutt, and she, Waheeda Rehman. May your dream come true!

Psst, unknown to most of you, a few years ago news was that Aamir had actually dropped Kangana (Jiah Khan’s role) from ‘Ghajini’ following a misunderstanding. But, when quizzed by Karan Johar on his famous chat-show ‘Koffee With Karan’ about the most glamorous actress in Bollywood, he named Kangana!

So, how would the scene be without Best Actor Aamir and Best Actress Kangana — with both of them protesting? Well, that’s exactly what’s putting the award organizers in a fix now. Now we don’t how how far this report may be true, but the grapevine strongly argues that Kangana and Aamir will give away their awards!

However, our ‘queen’ has hit the headlines these days for another matter — her relationship tag, which surprised millions of her fans. Revealing that she is in a ‘commitment’, Kangana kept the name of her mystery man under wraps.

As the rumor spread like wildfire, all pointers were directed at Hrithik Roshan. But, that was just a rumor after all, as the ‘Bang Bang’ star brushed off questions regarding the matter on Twitter.

Kangana too, swept this news under the carpet and got herself busy in shooting Anand L Rai’s next movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. And, she managed to shoot the Haryana schedule of the film in 30 days flat, despite the fact that it was a 50-day outdoor stint. The leading lady apparently managed to surprise the director by giving flawless takes, most of which were canned in the very first attempt. Well done! Do keep giving us sooper, dooper performances.
