LOS ANGELES: Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix are all set to star in Woody Allen’s next project. The film is currently untitled, but Allen is expected to write, produce and direct, reported Variety Online.

Plot details are unknown and the film will likely to go on floors this July. This will be the first time Allen will be working with Phoenix. Allen worked with Stone in the upcoming film ‘Magic in the Moonlight’.

Allen’s last film, ‘Blue Jasmine’, landed Cate Blanchett a lead actress Oscar and Sally Hawkins a supporting actress nomination.

The director usually has a film out a year, so his newest project will likely be filmed soon so it can be out in 2015.

Emma is certainly very busy at the moment having just wrapped “Magic In the Moonlight,” as well as film Birdman — starring Naomi Watts and Eric Norton — and the untitled Cameron Crowe project, due out Christmas.

The 25-year-old is also currently on the promotional trail for the “Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which stars her off-screen partner Andrew Garfield and made an $91.7 million in America during its opening weekend.
