Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors (MYNM) launched the new Jaguar F-TYPE at an exclusive ceremony held in Jeddah recently. Jaguar owners, businessmen and top community figures and media representatives attended the event. This new car marks Jaguar’s return to its long-lasting passion about sports cars with the most appealing look, which won the World Car of the Year award during at the New York Motor Show.

Amr Badghaish, head of marketing at MYNM, expressed his warm welcome and happiness to the guests attending this exclusive event, which kicked off in Jeddah, and will take place in Riyadh in the coming days. "Moments like these reaffirm Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors' commitment to better serve the Jaguar brand in the Kingdom and exceed customers’ expectations."

He added: "Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors has recorded tremendous successes since it was first appointed as the exclusive dealer for Jaguar and Land Rover in Saudi Arabia back in 2010, achieving record sales of 1,442 cars during 2012 compared to 963 cars sold in 2011, i.e. an average increase of 50 percent."

He added: "Today’s launch of this great sports car has been long awaited by sports car fans and enthusiasts. It is a car that is true to Jaguar's DNA and design values and that represents the return to Jaguar’s pure sports cars with focus on high performance, advanced agility and excellent driver involvement. The F-TYPE is a new fascinating car equipped with ultramodern technologies. Its powerful V8S SC 5.0 liter engine and 495 HP accelerates smoothly from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 300 km/h. It is also fitted with an 8-speed transmission, Quick Shift system and light aluminum body."

The launch of this new Jaguar came after extensive years of successful triumphs, enriched with experience and exhaustive know-how in sport cars technology. And after 10 years of hard brainstorming and negotiable decisions, the production processes came into existence in April 2012. Since then, this car has been exposed to many rigorous tests; it is the first car among many inspired ones planned to be launched during the next few years after satisfying all the research and development requirements to successfully achieve their goals.
