MUMBAI: Imtiaz Ali has admitted in the past that he is able to bring out love stories on celluloid because of the absence of love in his personal life. However, reportedly after the divorce with wife Preety in 2012, the director has found his love in Pakistani actress, Iman Ali.

The two have been seeing each other for over a year now. Last week, they were spotted in a grocery store in suburbs doing their household shopping. Imtiaz and Iman were also spotted together hunting for their new abode.

An eyewitness said: “Imtiaz was wearing a black t-shirt and blue denim and Iman was wearing a flowing white dress. While Iman did the shopping, Imtiaz was by her side helping her to shop. He was holding her hands and looked very cute buying regular stuff. In fact, they weren’t even wary of the onlookers and were glued into their shopping.”

According to reports, the director and the actress might have moved in together last year. Imtiaz has separated from his wife but is constantly in touch with his daughter, Ida Ali.
