Once upon a time ‘marriages were made in heaven’ and relations were sealed. But, today it seems ‘relationships’ are more the order of the day! And, bonus point — make or break it — you hit the headlines!

One of the most talked about topics of this year has been Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s rumored jodi. Even rumors about their shaadi have been doing the rounds for some time now. Planning to take their relationship to the next level — marriage, the couple recently moved in to their posh new love pad!

However, mom Neetu Kapoor insists her ladla beta is not ready to tie the knot anytime soon. In fact, she spoke her heart out on their impending marriage. She admitted that she wants Ranbir to get married as soon as possible. But, given that Ranbir belongs to a different generation with a totally different mentality toward life, she also stated that when he decides to take the plunge is totally up to Ranbir, himself. She also clarified that she is absolutely ready as and when he’s ready for marriage but, can’t see it happening in a year or two. Now, what has Sonam Kapoor to do with Ranbir-Katrina’s wedding? Why is she interested to see them married soon, and, that too, in the coming year itself?

It is currently the hottest topic of tinsel town. Psssst! and Ranbir’s first co-star Sonam Kapoor had voiced her opinion on this, at a recent award ceremony. She was given three options — whether it’ll be Salman Khan’s wedding, the three Khans coming together in a movie or Ranbir-Katrina getting married. Taking a dig at the question itself, Sonam said, “Uhhh I don’t think either of the three are possible.”

A much-amused Jacqueline Fenandez, standing next to her smiled and burst out laughing. However, after much persistence on the part of the questioner, Sonam said that she would ‘wish’ to see Ranbir-Katrina getting married — out of the three options. Well, how does that grab you?

Our ‘Rockstar’ is turning a blind eye, to such chatter. Rather, he is more miffed at the promoters of his upcoming movie ‘Roy’.  Ranbir, who has an extended cameo in ‘Roy’, is apparently irked by the makers featuring him prominently in the posters.

And, if the industry grapevine is to be believed, the first look of ‘Roy’ has not gone down well with Ranbir. Sources insisted the actor, who has a short role in the film, is unhappy that the makers are promoting it as a regular RK-starrer. So much so that he declined to attend the trailer launch, though he was very much in town!

Rumors point out that he has decided not to promote the film nor speak to the media. “Roy is essentially an Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez film, but the way it is being projected — giving Ranbir unwanted prominence in the posters — is funny. In fact, it is misleading. Ranbir has not spoken about the film which is a tell-tale sign,” a source says, adding that the film is slated for a February release.  Oh, no, but we want him to take the driving seat!

Also, away from the rumor mills, early this week Ranbir released the first look of ‘Jagga Jasoos’, starring the much-spoken-about love birds — Ranbir and Katrina. It was released by Ranbir on Instagram.
