Can the magic of a super cast do wonders for a film? Of course, talent and hard work also has to fit in. This success story is scripted repeatedly in B-town. The cast, for sure, can add a different dimension to any new project.

Now, the latest buzz is — has Rohit Shetty pulled off a ‘casting-coup’ with his next flick? Is it evergreen jodi Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol or is it SRK romancing Katrina Kaif? But, the “Chennai Express” director is in no mood to take the lid off the name of the leading lady.

Yes, Katrina Kaif was reportedly roped in for Rohit Shetty’s untitled project. But according to Mid-Day, a source revealed, “Rohit wants Kajol to make her comeback with his film, which will go on the floors soon. He has had many rounds of discussion with the actress and is trying his best to rope her into the project.”

This hotshot director is in the news, with his return to the small screen with the sixth season of “Khatron Ke Khiladi”. For the moment, he has no time to finalize his heroine. Commenting on the rumors, Rohit said, “At this time, I guess everyone else apart from me is busy casting for my film and they are telling their own versions. I am just waiting for now and enjoying the process.”

Meanwhile, many reports speculate that the movie will be a remake of an old film — that it is a remake of the Amitabh-Rajnikant-Govinda starrer “Hum”, where Katrina Kaif may play the role of Kimi Katkar and groove to the iconic chartbuster song ‘Jumma Chumma’ along with King Khan, who will try to squeeze into Big B’s shoes!

According to the grapevine, Varun Dhawan will play the role of Govinda and Arjun Rampal will fit into the role of Rajnikant. As for the once-upon-a-time buddies Shah Rukh Khan and Arjun Rampal, we heard that their friendship soured after the release of sci-fi movie “Ra.One”. But all is not lost, for it sure looks like there are still chances of patch-up between the two stars.

Arjun, however, quashed the reports and said, “There’s no collaboration between SRK and me coming up, anytime soon.” But, we wish them happy times ahead. Plus, it is well known that Arjun perfectly fits the role the director has laid out in his script.

For now, movie stars Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan are in the lead roles. “Heropanti” star Kriti Sanon may play the role opposite the Dhawan lad.

After this, he will dive into a 40 day agenda for “Raees” and then will start work on Rohit’s film in May for a three-month schedule. SRK is also busy with his new TV show “India Poochega — Sabse Shaana Kaun?”
