For sure, there’s a nexus between Salman Khan and Eid, for we have this explosive combo setting the cash registers ringing!

And, the Box Office cannot resist this awesome twosome.

We can trace the history of this phenomenon to the point when “Wanted” was released on Eid in 2009. And, since then, Dabangg Khan has been consistently delivering Rs 100 crore films on Eid every year.

Post “Wanted,” Salman Khan gave hits like — “Bodyguard,” “Dabangg,” “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Kick” — all of which were all Eid releases.

And now, after the flashy build-up, Salman’s fans have been waiting for “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” to be released during this Eid.

Hitting the screens worldwide today, we must tell you that Salman Bhai known for playing the roles of Prem in most of his movies, will try to win over the hearts of his fans this time with his character Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi, who belongs to a wrestler’s family in “Bajrangi Bhaijaan.”

Keen to ensure that Eid festivities continue to cheer his fans over the next two years also, after “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” is Salman.

His next — YRF’s “Sultan” will clash with friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Shah Rukh Khan’s “Raees” on the auspicious Friday next year. Reports coming in now suggest Salman is eyeing Eid 2017 for Arbaaz Khan’s “Dabanng 3.” As per the grapevine, Salman’s brother Arbaaz will once again direct the third installment of the franchise after having called the shots for “Dabanng 2.”

That the film is also releasing on Eid in Pakistan is good news indeed, for the producers. Yes, Kabir Khan’s movie has managed to get a go-ahead from Pakistani Censor Board!

Point to ponder — why wait for Khan wars at the box office until next Eid? This year too, Salman will take on another Khan and, this time around it’s in Pakistan … here’s how…

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who will make her Bollywood debut with SRK’s “Raees,” will be competing with Sallu Miyan on two consecutive Eids.

Surprised? Well, this show-stopper will be seen in the Pakistani film “Bin Roye,” which is all set to release on July 18, 2015. On the other hand, Salman’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, will release a day prior to that i.e. July 17, 2015.

What’s more, Mahira and Salman will battle it out next Eid too, with “Raees” and “Sultan” releasing on the same day! Some clash, we must say!
