How did B-town plan to ring in 2015? First of all, Bollywood stars had exciting plans. Some flew out of the motherland to be with their loved ones. For some, it was a conscious decision while for others, it was work that kept them away from flying to their nest.

After a very blockbuster year at the box-office with ‘Happy New Year’ King Khan reportedly chose to spend quality time with his family in Dubai. He in fact, owns a plush bungalow in the Palm Jumeirah locality, where he may have partied hard. Though he had asked the entire ‘HNY’ cast to join him and reignite memories, news was that all of them had their own plans. As per a source only Sonu Sood accompanied the Badshah and his family — Gauri, Suhana and AbRam; and later, his eldest son Aryan joined them, directly from the UK.

We heard that the smashing leading lady of the ‘HNY’, Deepika Padukone flew to Maldives to celebrate Xmas and New Year. And the buzz was that the actress was joined by her supposed love interest — Ranveer Singh. Then they apparently took off to New York to ring in the New Year. Incidentally, the rumored couple had celebrated New Year together last year too in New York. They do have a soft corner for ‘the Big Apple’, no?

According to the grapevine, Ranveer was busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’, but he had very conveniently taken a week off — from Dec. 27 to Jan. 5. And, putting two and two together, it makes us wonder — did he actually join Deepika in Maldives? Cool, right?

But where did his ‘HNY’ co-star Nandu aka Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan make a beeline for? They were seen flying with daughter Aaradhya to an undisclosed location for the 2015 festivities. We are still left guessing!

It is not only SRK who chose the ‘city of gold’ to ring in the New Year, Hrithik Roshan’s sons Hridhaan and Hrehaan joined their daddy to celebrate the festive cheer in Dubai too. Buzz was that, the ‘Bang Bang’ star was supposed to shoot a commercial in Dubai. Even the ‘hawa hawai’ girl Sridevi was in the city with her daughters Jhanvi and Khushi, but minus her hubby Boney Kapoor (as he was busy with ‘Tevar’ promotions).

Boney’s evergreen brother Anil ‘Jhakaas’ Kapoor was also in Dubai as daughter Sonam ‘Khoobsurat’ Kapoor brought in her dad’s 58th birthday on Dec. 24 in Dubai. The entire family was there till the New Year. Buzz was that Anil’s son Harshvardhan didn’t join the family, as he was shooting for his debut film in Rajasthan.

And, after the success of ‘PK’, Anushka Sharma arrived in Melbourne to take a break from work. She was recently spotted walking hand-in-hand in an Australian city with her cricketer boyfriend Virat Kohli. In case you are curious, her close friend said that she was there just to cheer for Kohli during the Test match. But are we convinced? A million dollar question!

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were already making headlines, thanks to the pre-Christmas party at their new residence, which was attended by their close friends from the industry. But the couple apparently had more hatke plans for the New Year. Though a fan spotted the Kapoor scion smoking on Hudson Street in Manhattan, his lady love was missing. Did she miss her London-New York flight?
