The efforts of Saudi Arabia in helping Syrian children are commendable. The Kingdom has set a good precedence. All Muslim countries must follow in the footsteps of the KSA. This is one way to tell the world that we are one. I urge all the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in other parts of the Muslim world to start a fund-raising campaign for the helpless Syrians displaced due to the ongoing conflict.

We should also raise funds for countries supporting Syrians by allowing them to take refuge within their borders. It is obviously difficult for any country to bear the expenses of maintaining refugee camps for a long time.

It is, therefore, our duty to swing into action to help our brothers and sisters in distress.
