I really doubt that the Indian politicians will ever learn. They will continue to play the communal card for their selfish interests. They don’t even care about the consequences of communal politics on the country. India is a secular country and it should remain one. It is true that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken communal politics to unprecedented levels but I feel that Congress and other parties are not angels either.

We Indians must also share the responsibility. Why blame these political parties? After all, we support them and vote them to power. We also pursue our selfish interests. None of us think about India. If we all say no to communal politics, nobody can force us to go against our will. We have to start thinking as Indians first.
