This is with reference to the report “King: Unity key to Muslim success” (March 3). It is true that without unity Muslims can never succeed in this world. We must act as one body and deal with all the issues facing the Muslim world. Many people may construe this idea as a call to confront the West. West is not the problem for Muslims, as the manner in which Islam is spreading and due to childbirth rate among Muslims, the demographics of the western countries will soon change. The issues we are facing are internal. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has called for unity among Muslims at the most appropriate time.
