Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal has thanked Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, for providing necessary support to the visit of a group of foreign ambassadors and their families to Madain Saleh near Al-Ula recently.
“On behalf of the ambassadors and their families who visited the historical site, I would like to thank you for the support extended by SCTA to make the visit a success,” Prince Saud wrote in a cable to Prince Sultan, adding that the group had appreciated SCTA’s assistance.
A 150-member group comprising foreign ambassadors and their families visited a number of historical places in Madain Saleh and Al-Ula on Dec. 6, 7 including Harrat Owairad, the heritage village and Al-Ula Museum.
