Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has issued a royal decree promoting Assistant Director General of Prisons for Administrative Affairs Brig. Gen. Saeed Al-Ghamdi to the rank of major general. On his part, Al-Ghamdi thanked the king, Crown Prince Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, and Defense Minister Prince Salman for the great trust placed in him. He also thanked Prince Ahmad, deputy interior minister, Prince Muhammad bin Naif, assistant minister of interior for security affairs, and Maj. Gen. Ali Al-Harithy, director general of prisons. Al-Ghamdi vowed to exert all efforts possible to serve the nation and the people.
