Eastern Province Police spokesperson, Col. Ziad Al-Ruqaiti said that Hafr Al-Batin police carried out on Monday evening an intensive security campaign in the industrial neighborhood.

He said a specialized security force implemented the campaign under the supervision of Hafr Al-Batin police supported by the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia).

He said, “Investigations and reports contributed in the accounting of some sites and focusing on them in the raids and inspections that accompanied the campaign.”

Al-Ruqaiti said all the sites referred to were searched thoroughly after the area was sealed off.

He said, “The police was able to arrest 76 labor law violators, 10 drunken people, 3 gambling cases, 10 cases of possessing pornographic films, one case of promoting liquor, 141 traffic tickets and 107 other cases.”

He said all the cases were handed over to the police station to complete the legal procedures.

“We are informing the illegal residents in Hafr Al-Batin and all the cities and villages of the Eastern Province that the security campaign will continue until every violator is weeded out.
