A body was found inside a mosque at a workshop complex in Madinah, according to Col. Fahd Al-Ghannat, spokesman for Madinah police.

He said the police responded to a report received by the Ohod police station via one of the security patrols in the area.

The report included information from a 33-year-old Yemeni national who said he found a corpse inside a mosque in a workshop complex in the Al-Shaman district. On arrival at the scene, police officers found that the body was that of a citizen in his thirties. Police did not detect any sign of violence at the sight nor injuries on the victim’s body, he said, noting that the body was being held in the morgue at King Fahd Hospital in Madinah.

Forensic experts were instructed to examine the body and report their findings to the Investigation and Prosecution Association.
